A native of Brevard County, Donna originally signed up for an open water scuba class with a friend’s daughter for moral support. Scuba diving is something she always wanted to TRY. She became an open water diver in 1997. After becoming certified, she went on several trips sponsored by Dixie Divers.
Her love for diving led her to become an Instructor in 2000 and a Master Scuba Diver Trainer in 2001. In December, 2006, Donna obtained her DSAT Tec Deep Diver Certification. In September, of 2007, she became a DSAT Tec Deep Diver Instructor. She is qualified to teach decompression to a depth of 165 feet. The desire to go to this depth has been ten years in the making. She is a strong believer in continuing education and learning something from every dive you make. Donna teaches all levels of instruction. She enjoys working with young people, doing Discover Scuba Diving classes, Snorkeling classes and occasionally doing an ALL women’s scuba diving class.
